Youth Empowerment
More Than a Programme
The Youth Empowerment Leadership Programme is a year-long, values-based development programme for young people aged 10–17.
The programme is designed to develop confidence, character, communication, responsibility, teamwork and leadership through workshops, practical experiences, community involvement, trips and events. Participants are encouraged to develop their voice, take responsibility, work effectively with others and become positive role models within their communities.
What the Programme Includes
Leadership Workshops
Interactive sessions designed to develop communication, teamwork, responsibility, confidence, decision-making and practical leadership skills.
7–8 Trips & Events
Participants will have opportunities to take part in approximately 7–8 trips and events throughout the programme year.
Community Service
Opportunities for young people to contribute positively to their community and understand the importance of responsibility and service.
Personal Development
Helping participants become more confident, independent, responsible and capable young people.
Teamwork & Communication
Activities and experiences that encourage participants to work effectively with others and communicate confidently.
Real Leadership Experience
Providing opportunities for participants to practise leadership rather than only learning about it theoretically.

Programme 2026/27
Age: 10–17 years
Fee: £180
Period: Sept 2026 – July 2027
Additional Sibling: £170
Financial Support: Available for eligible families. T&Cs apply.
The Youth Leadership Programme fee is £180. To pay, choose between a single £180 payment or three instalments of £60 (Payment 1: £60, Payment 2: £60, Payment 3: £60).
How Applications Work

A parent or guardian submits the application form below.

Application Review
Due to demand, applications will be reviewed by the Youth Empowerment team.

Interview
Shortlisted applicants may be invited to an interview.

Place Offered
Successful applicants will receive further information regarding enrolment and the programme.
Submitting an application does not automatically guarantee a place on the programme.
